The world's first trivia game for Malayalam films. Eight sections. 150 questions.
Malayalam movies are part of Indian cinema, and are mostly in the Malayalam language, spoken widely in Kerala. And these films have been around for a century or so. The trivia questions in this game are about this celebrated branch of Indian cinema and should appeal to everyone from grandparents to children for family or community game nights, or for just having fun with friends.
Up to you. Maybe have individuals or team players with one volunteer for Game-and-Score master. Or shuffle the cards and get each player to take turns to pick a card and answer the question. Scoring could be 10 points for each correct answer and 5 if passing questions is allowed. If keeping score is a headache, players can keep the cards that they answer correctly and the ones with the most cards at the end are declared the winners.
Feel free to introduce timer deadlines and hand out prizes to the winning players or teams. No yelling out answers if it’s not your turn. And don’t forget to have fun.
All the answers are in the Answer Key. There are eight sections and 150 questions overall. Keep your mobile phones away and do not cheat. Where’s the fun in that, anyway? I’ve tried my best to research and fact-check the answers, but if you think I got something wrong, well, I’m human and happy to be corrected. Please write to me at triviabytony@gmail.com. I’m also open to bouquets and brickbats, and suggestions for newer editions.
